1989, Afghanistan produced 6% of world's opium/poppy/heroin supply. In 1999, Afghanistan produced around 10% of the world's heroin supply. In 2003/4, couole of years after US/NATO/West occupation, Afghanistan produced a staggering 93% of the world's poppy/heroin supply!

Then why asking afghan government to make girls educational institutions when they don't even have funds to eat. A starved and malnutritioned girl of Afghanistan holds less value in the eyes of the US I guess. They're more concerned about what they're wearing
