What happens after US elections elect Democratic Party leaders, then Trump declares a national emergency. Do the newly elected get sworn in? All the hype on the upcoming wartime activity after the midterms ie warning the military and the public to be prepared for 90 days without support etc sounds to me like this would be possible.
