Leading artificial intelligence company OpenAI is again trying to rebuild relationships after another controversy.
Weeks ago, OpenAI announced it had cracked one of the toughest math problems – the Navier-Stokes Millennium Prize problem. But some mathematicians disagree with how the AI did it. Meanwhile, others who were working on the problem accused OpenAI of stealing their work, which the company denies.
Many mathematicians say they have trouble understanding the 166-page manuscript drafted by AI and that it doesn’t teach humans much.
