R&B singer Chris Brown has avoided jail after striking a man twice in the head with a tequila bottle in a central London club. The 37-year-old admitted to the offence of affray earlier this year. On October 26 at Southwark Crown Court, Brown was sentenced to eight months imprisonment, suspended for 12 months.

According to the judge his fame doesnt give him special treatment but yet he got off free?..he recently was just charged for a brutal dog attack on his cleaner, where he fled the scene, and have had multiple criminal offences throughout the years including a restraining order from another ex gf. This man just keeps gettin away with bs😂

Does he have to stay in Britain for 12 months, or is he free to go back to America so he can carry on smoking weed and doing things over there that are illegal here?
If that had been Joe Blogs he would have been given prison time for sure. Using a glass bottle as a weapon and no prison time is an absolute joke.

Disgraceful celebrity favouritism. The law should have made an example of the thuggish behaviour & jailed them.
A glass bottle is an extremely serious weapon that can cause life-altering injuries. The fact they chased the victim down afterwards too shows intent to cause GBH. This should have resulted in prison time. What a joke of a criminal justice system we have.

Obscene leniency in both the charges and the sentencing. Why did they drop the GBH charges? He hit his victim multiple times with a thick glass bottle. Also, why did the Judge give both assailants such lenient sentences? Was that Judge on the payroll?
