Michael Carrick's honest response to questions on whether he should be sacked by Manchester United

At least there is some consistency. And that's all we need

I think it would be a massive statement from the club's senior management to publicly back Carrick and make it clear that he has their full support. We've seen the same pattern year after year – results go bad, the manager gets replaced, and everyone expects the players to suddenly start performing again. At some point, this cycle has to stop. Carrick is still a young manager, but last season he showed just how much potential he has. He deserves time, trust, and support to build something meaningful. One of the strongest messages the board could send right now is simple: Carrick is our manager, he has a contract, we believe in him, and we're fully committed to this journey together. If the club genuinely wants long-term success, it needs to start building stability and continuity instead of hitting the reset button every single year.

The problems is the players not the manager

It cannot be his fault. After the litany of top managers before him, he has nothing to be ashamed about.

I don't find anything difficult when i'm finding something new

Sack Wilcox

So the board signed mid midfielders and expected carrick to make them perform

I remember Michael at West Ham, Great Player and stayed with us when we were relegated, Now as a Manager I think He done a good job for United last season and deserves a bit more time and support from the Board but if Not, I’d gladly like to see Him back at West Ham anytime! 👍👏🫡

Theres a manager job at burnley he got sacked yesterday

there's no synergy amongst the players both in defence and attack, they've look disjointed from the get go

To Quote Jose which still rings true today, “That’s heritage”

Two individual blunders cost us the goals. No manager in the world can account for errors like that. And look at this current Man Utd squad, they are seriously lacking quality, particularly upfront and across the entire backline, not to mention the ongoing injury crisis.

No need to change the manager, he played the players hes been given. We still cant pass a simple ball infront of our teamate. We still dont serve out strikers. We have a defence who look only on the ball and not whats around them. I got a strange feeling that the players dident want to play at all today. Something is verry wrong atm.
