End this show. So tiring!
The van de ven ‘tackle’ was absolutely a red card because of the intent and recklessness…..
I just had to doublecheck to see if Jay is actually a former player. I assumed he was, but he offers no meaningful insight into any of this. His understanding of the laws of the game is tenuous at best. That’s not unusual for professional sportsman, from experience, which is fine, but I don’t understand why he would therefore be on SKY.
The Rogers one was what we used to call a "cynical" foul
That’s a terrible tackle by VDV. If caicedo did that to someone everyone would be screaming for a red card
Palmer was fouled but I think his anger was at the players’ second movement to knock the ball away with his hand to prevent the attack 🤷♂️
2:27 Palmer clearly, deliberately, pushes right into his face. If Palmer pushed someone right in the face with hand/shoulder/knee/head it would be a red all day. This should have been
Chelsea should of been down to 9 players
To be fair ..i think Palmers first tackle was bordering on red his second i think he knew what he was doing maybe it bordered yellow..i think the 2 yellows was probably on balance the right decision.
I love how Tim Sherwood has so many years in the game as player and manager and he is still absolutely f'ing clueless.
according to Tim, you are allowed to severely provoke an opponent with aggressive moves like wild hooks or dangerous tackles, provided you never actually make physical contact with them?
Where r u supposed to put your foot?? On the grass?? Not on a players ankle 😂😂 what a muppet 🤡
Van der ven was a red card. Caicedo saved his ass by his reaction
By far the most obvious second yellow you’ll ever see 😂
When Tim Sherwood is making the most sense, it's probably time for the rest of them to pack up and go home.
The lack of logic and consistency from Sherwood is comedy 🤣
Hilarious I am sure Jay is often coming in to wind Dermott (DERMS) up, after 5 minutes you know where he is going for the show. Disagree with him on a lot today, however Jay makes a valid point about Eliott Anderson leaving his leg out. Jay was having an absolute bubble I assume laughing inside regarding Cole Palmer, for a long time he has had that snidey edge to him. When things are going well, you do not see it, when they are not he shows. Petulance at its finest. Very good player, however he thinks he is better than he is, that will hold him back.
This guy needs to pack it in
Palmer: First one yellow, 2nd one free kick. Also #18 deliberately batting the ball away with his hand should have been a card for the tackle and a 2nd for the swipe :/
If there is one part of the body a player can control its their feet, he knew exactly what he did 100% If it was a dog turd he would of avoided it I bet 😂
