Diagnostics rarely get the spotlight, yet they decide so much of what happens next in care. Dr Tedros is right to push this coalition forward, because earlier and more accurate diagnosis changes outcomes everywhere, not just in well-resourced systems. Encouraging to see global health leaders treating laboratory capacity as the foundation it truly is. Important remarks, well worth the listen. Thank you, WHO, for sharing.

I've read another publication from the field of psychiatry. And what people do there is – to invent classes – so that they then show significant results as desired. Really, it is – not – the idea to lay out classes or groups in order to maximize significance! It's the idea to look at (samples of) physically or biologically (or whatever else kind of) naturally occurring and separable groups! And it is – not – an issue to design groups in the field of mental illnesses, so that they afterwards show the desired effects. In particular, if they depend on patient's statements, who live under enormous social discrimination and pressure. This is an emergency call in the name of – millions of people – (such as me) who are suffering and dying from the social and medical damages, caused mostly by the field of psychiatry by generally disregarding scientific fundamentals, mainly for financial profit and governmental security, obviously! Please help!
