Hot take - BioWare haven’t released a decent game in a long time. If they had performed better in recent years, perhaps they wouldn’t have been closed. There’s no question BioWare was a Titan of RPGs.
They haven’t has a commercially successful since 2014…
They deserve it. They are trash. And all who were responsible for failguard need to be fired and banned from the industry.

This was absolutely deserved (and has nothing to do with AI). Throughout the last ten years Bioware has produced games nobody wanted. And if you play one of the games, it is easy to tell why. Or as we like to say in the gaming community: Shut up and put the fries in the bag.
Unfortunate, but entirely deserved. You cant just prop up an "in name only" These are not the people that made the games we loved, they were replaced by ideologues and agenda pushers
Bioware of today is just not the same studio the turnover of staff and names just means it has no connections to the Bioware games of old

Who ever was in charge of Anthem should be blamed for this. No one wanted a multiplayer looter shooter from Bioware, they wanted jade empire 2, a better mass effect, a better dragon age, good single player rpgs
For all of EA’s faults, BioWare had nowhere to look but inwards at their failures. BioWare’s main USP was intense, well written games that over delivered on mediocre gameplay. Mass Effect 1 was not a good game in terms of environment or gameplay but its story was fascinating, the music was legendary and the world was interesting. Modern BioWare just was not living up to the massive expectation that were set up from Dragon Age, KoTOR and Mass Effect. These games were no longer RPGs and the dialogue in games like Andromeda and Veilguard were awful and that is an understatement. Play Veilguard and watch companioned talk to each other and then play Mass Effect 2 or 3. Veilguard is like a Disney film in comparison.
Bioware ripped it's fan base off and kept putting out garbage, they last made a good game what 20 tears ago 😂

Yeah the millions of people that were waiting in line for the next Mass Effect game. Man they made a dumb move. Sad thing is corporations use people to balance books on spreadsheets . That's all we are now
