After 237 days and over 3,700 orbits around Earth aboard the International Space Station, Sophie Adenot is back on Earth!
Following a handover to Crew-13, Sophie and her Crew-12 crewmates undocked on 7 October and splashed down off the coast of California the next day.
Now back in Europe, Sophie will begin her post-flight data collection and rehabilitation while readjusting to life on Earth after the longest mission in space by a European astronaut so far.
Welcome home, Sophie!

I’m happy that she’s safely back at home on Earth, but I will miss her ISS videos so much!
You’re such an inspiring woman, Sophie! Welcome home!
Welcome home, Sophie. You and your team's adventures will be remembered forever. The footage of you working outside the Space Station with the Earth visible below you is something I will never forget. I look forward to hearing more from you when you are fully recovered. Thank you.
Never give up even when its challenging,... very deep message. Ive just been diagnosed as stage 4 terminal secondary breast cancer after being told the lump in my breast ive had for 34 years and the paon in my bones ive had for 2 decades was harmless. Im still trying to wrap my head around the very recent change and nothing drs are doing about it but pain killers. Im not giving up though. Im still trying to find a way to unite some of my family members. Give them a chance to mend broken bridges, focus on what really matters. Sophies message of no borders goes so deeply in every aspect of life. And messages from these videos at the most delicate time of my life i can only thank here online. Thankyou Sophie, thankyou ESA ❤🙏💐

2:29 "Spaceflight is a uniting adventure." 🤗
You're my hero! I wanted to go to Space from my childhood, and you fulfil my dream!!! Thank you, and good luck! ❤🚀
When you read about what astronauts have to go through, it really is incredibly demanding – that’s why her face is swollen and she has a cannula in her arm, with a doctor standing behind her holding a defibrillator.
Awesome woman 🤗🥰🙏🏼
Welcome home, madame!
Hope you're having a good rest after those truly impressive things you have done, Sophie!
Super crew 12 et Sophie Adenot merci.
