Why Investors Love Wonder
Thank you for telling me about this company so I can avoid it like the plague.
They all start cheap and good. Soon portion become smaller. Prices rise as quality decrees while introducing fees.
Always thought that AI slop bowl was just a meme
No delivery fee, but they do charge a 'service fee' for deliveries. Same thing.
2 new stores per week? What could possibly go wrong
Notice how they say investors and not consumers?
People always prefer a restaurant that does 1 thing great over 100 things at just edible.
Across Asia, food is cooked fresh and in front of you quicker than this.
All your Sysco homogenized flavours in one spot! Where do I sign up!?!?!?!
It'll be sold at 95% discount to PE within 5 years
So basically an assembly line for Slop bowl.
Sure hope they have those machines carefully cleaned everyday! Interesting concept. I just ordered Panera after being away from them for a year or so. Wow, portions down, quality down and prices sky high. Isn’t private equity just wonderful?
I prefer human prep and inspection of what I consume. Continuing to replace people with tech and before you know it they'll be serving Soylent Green
Basically an automated kitchen. But I don't see point of difference that could be sustained. So I'm sure the goal is to be sold within 2-3 years before it dives.
Private equity slop
The robot slop bowls no one asked for. Hard pass.
Investors are also the only people who love Wonder. Everyone else hates them
Slop bowls with cute packaging
Vertically integrated food technology platform Just rolls off the tongue...
Support local businesses, not big corp
