You are absolutely right dk 160-180 in t20 and in odi 260 -280 are best games.
Hope BCCI is listening.
make it a good contest between the bat and ball - I dont care about the score
Cricket should never be about the boundaries. Than only one aspect, how players are running between wickets, field placements, fielding attributes. With flat pitches we are not seeing this and more aspects being not in the game as much as before. I clearly remember a game between srh vs MI long back, which one has not chased 120 something. And finals between MI and Pune, what was a really close one. These games are what make them interesting.
Yes DK sir is correct ..bahut maja aata hai jb bowlerr ke liye bhi kuch ho varna ye 250/260 chase ye sb boring hi lag rha hai
Cricket nowadays is boring . What DK said is absolutely true
Can't agree more
Lovely analysis
Make him bcci chief bro has given the best advice 👌 i watched the game I enjoyed it more than games before India played but now I know it why 😊 DK 🎉
I would say 180 to 200 is best with some(20 percent) 160 and below
But Crowd will cheer for 50 boundaries and 50 sixes in match thats what mindset 😢
Grounds also should be big and uniform everywhere. Otherwise, it doesn't make any sense.
Exactly my thoughts... didn't even watch the ipl last year, losing interest.... every score above 200 and still every score was being chased
Yes , and bcci run by babus will add one more super sub kind of player next year 😂 , play 11 batsmen. I hope this year's lower viewership numbers will ring some bells. 150-180 games are the ones we remember.
Agreed 160-180 pitches with minimum 75 -80 meters boundaries is the need of the hour
Just increase the Ground Size and the run fest will get over.
Even if you give flat pitches, atleast increase the boundary size, it's shameful that even edeas fly for sixes nowadays, a batsman must only get a six when he times the ball properly.
Finally someone said it
Franchise cricket is commercial so it understood they need to mint money, ICC should stop matches following the same formulae and maintain perfect balance. If three matches are played in series , let’s keep one pure batting pitch, one sporting pitch which support both batsmen and bowlers, one pure bowling pitch. So the spectators witness the variety
180 games are something else..2024 ipl flat pitches have ruined the game..t20wc 2026 had really good pitches and it was such a competitive tournament
