Sylvie Dubois, Mayor of Saran, a city north of Orleans, participated in an anti-National Rally protest ahead of Le Pen’s speech, saying: “By gathering here together, we want to show that we do not share the views of the National Rally. We don’t want them in France. Because they stand for hatred, because they stand for racism, because they stand for nationalism — and we want freedom. We stand for solidarity with all people.”
