That appearance must have cost audi lots of marketing points.
Most Americans and all Canadians won’t even CONSIDER buying anything from that new “trump car factory”. That would be like buying a car from Hitler himself. If that CEO believes there will be either American or Canadian buyers for the products of that future US Audi/VW factory, he is dreaming or delusional.

Audi and all the Volswagen group should focus on make more reliable cars instead of marketing and propaganda. They destoyed the company reputation in the last decade like all the other German brands.
Before they changed their name to Audi, they were named "Horch" and manufactured luxury and military vehicles for Nazi Germany. How fitting.

Good CEOs do not get involved in politics. This means they must work with any administration whether the administration is one they (or you) like or not. Audi is a car company and their customers wear all colours.

Well, we were very close to buying a second Audi but this made the decision very easy and so we cancelled our order. We will also be replacing our existing Audi. What a coward!
