Israeli's will head to the polls on October 27, the first national election since the October 7 attacks and the war in Gaza that followed them.

Benjamin Netanyahu had led the country through the conflict, and is now fighting to stay in power. This election will be largely viewed as a referendum on his leadership.

If he loses, then the future of Gaza, the West Bank and the conflicts against Hamas, Hezbollah and Iran will be in a different political leaders' hands.
