Love how is Apple going back to their roots with a folding design, just like the iPhone 6 Plus did back in the day
I work in an apple store. I’ve had countless people come up to me and ask “is it true? does it actually fold” or something to that effect. the general population are oblivious to what’s been going on for 7 years edit: jesus, this blew up. few things to cover. 1. i don’t work in america. this is a store in the U.K. 2. contrary to popular belief, i can say i work in an Apple store. i’m not under an NDA to not disclose my job. at the same time, i don’t owe anyone anything to confirm my employment with Apple. 3. this is not me trying to feel superior to others. i am just marginally surprised that people don’t know that phones fold. when the first commercially available phone was released, we didn’t have generative AI, we didn’t have the modern gaming consoles, the newest iPhone was the XS and XR, we’ve had the introduction of spatial computers and more advanced wearables. i’m simply surprised people are familiar with everything else i’ve mentioned but foldable phones. 4. no, you cannot use my discount.
This video would be recommended randomly 15 years later and people would comment "who's here after iphone Trio release"
And now that the screens are starting to crack left and right, apple blames people on “folding it wrong” just like they blamed people for holding it wrong with the old antennae problem
I just stopped flying my Tesla to watch this
Me watching a review of a phone I can't afford for 30 minutes straight
$130 for a case is insane
Face ID has always been inconsistent with me. I’m happy with the fingerprint feature.
Just admit it, Marques. You've had it for 2 weeks already. 😂
As a left-handed person, watching all these right-handed UI designs feels like a personal attack 💀😂
20:55 gotta respect a man still liking his own videos at like 20M subs
The way I came running to this channel as soon as it dropped
Not filming this in 4:3 is a crime
From what I hear, “should I get one” isn’t as important as “can I get one”
crazy how a software animation is a big part in a phone review these days
Why noone talks abt super inspiring animation and sound of intro, the studio’s vibe transitional texts, lastly ending’s super smooth animation which is very meaningful❤
$130 for a folio case. What a time to be alive
As an iOS developer with 10 years of experience, I can say that Apple didn’t give developers enough time to adapt their apps. The SDK was released way too late. We’re currently working on adapting our apps, and many developers will be releasing updated versions soon.
For those who only saw video B, in Video A Marques did the review in the streets of Paris France, yes he got arrested. Glad he chose option B after getting out
Bro, I haven't watched a MKBHD video in like a year. The audio and visual quality is so cinematic and high quality that it was actually jarring. Like dang bro.
