8:05 Mike, the joke is that the appendix is "about to explode" which is what is usually referred when talking about an appendix that's about to erupt. Hence it exploding like a grenade when thrown. It's a play on words

I recently had a abdominal CT scan and the radiologist noted "bladder and prostate appear normal" The problem with that is I'm a 58 year old woman who had a hysterectomy 5 years ago. He apparently did not either look closely enough at the scan or he was lazy in his report. I had another radiologist read it. I made a complaint through the proper hospital channels.
I'll never not love Dr. Mike calling out Dr. Gundry's bs.

My ex partner used to get chronic sciatica pains and would, against my protests, see a chiropractor maybe quarterly. Once she saw a new chiropractor and started complaining of back pain afterwards, got so bad i had to rush her to the ER. All the doctors and nurses told her exactly what i told her, chiropractors are not doctors, do not trust them.

I had a class one time in which they said that there is unhealty food in the hospitals because, for a lot of people, it's comfort food that would help mentally a lot more than it would be harmful.
The main running gag with Dr. Nick is that he is a quack.
Every time I see Dr. Gundry's smug take on smoking I feel this sudden rage.
"Full-body checkup" is what my car mechanic offers so they can find additional work to scare me into doing at full price.
I love Dr Mike trying to add real life logic to a cartoon 😂
My favourite Dr Nick moment is when he's watching a surgery tutorial video and when it shows him the surgeon cracking open the patient's ribs he recoils in horror with "Oh no! Blood!"
What's funny about the metal O giving appendice, is the writers knew it isn't accurate. They consulted a doctor and was told there would be no link.
"That's the joke!" Seriously Dr. Mike, that's why this is called satirical comedy.
"I don't have a blue shirt." In Bart's original design he wore a blue shirt lol I never caught that joke before now
11:10 It's more like the Milgram Experiment, another infamous psychological study that is often talked about alongside the Stanford Prison Experiment. Milgram was testing the willingness of his subjects to inflict painful or even lethal shocks to another "volunteer," (actually an actor who wasn't receiving real shocks at all) just because an authority figure told them to.
So Bart was asked first if he wanted to take the blue pill or the red pill 😂
