This kind of use of AI is really beneficial. It's essentially like having a second reader, helping doctors spot things they might otherwise miss. It's very similar in my field, radiology. We also use AI tools to help us detect abnormalities or to provide a second reading of mammograms and X-rays. However, we need to be careful, because a lot depends on who trained the AI system. Some companies train their AI models using only junior, inexperienced doctors, and in those cases, the technology can actually do more harm than good.
This is one of the better uses for AI
So I think AI COULD be great for doctors right now. I think it will help. However, I think newer doctors could end up relying on it too much to the point they can no longer diagnose or do anything themselves. Anyone seen Idiocracy? That.
Everything is rebranded as Ai... We had image detection and machine learning for years..
Dentists and medical cannabis systems will destroy national health services of the world.
medicare fraud was discovered by AI s..
This does not make me feel any better about AI. And now I’m beginning to wonder who of my doctors has used AI when doing colonoscopies and/or endoscopies.😒😒😒
