Hard to overstate how mad every publisher is with Meta right now - and how much this drama is coming for

They are 100% currently training their models using this data. Regardless of permission.
Meta is a plague
When the service is free, you are not the customer, _you are the product that company is selling,_ *_your data is that product!_*
Panicking about this is completely pointless because how would you know if they are doing it anyway without your consent.
Zuck has gonna ghoul mode (as is the entire entirey of the plagarism hallucination machine)
Meta says publishers can use robots txt but thats just a request for crawlers not a license to train AI on the content so the consent question is still wide open
Easier to ask for forgiveness than beg for permission
Why are people on Facebook? Have you all not learned? “Because that is where the people are at” is a horse hockey excuse. The internet is where people are at. Do better.
We do NOT all use and run our business on these platforms. Don’t use them!
We should make them pay us for our data…
Meta's already printing billions of $ through ads... yet they still need to scrape all our data for their unprofitable AI. It just does not stop how many resources (energy, money, data) AI consumes and none of it has turned in a profit.
You don’t need a TOS to train AI on websites. They’re all public. I don’t get it.
While it should have been notified and discussed if ur actively profiting from meta without them asking for any kind of kickbacks should they have the right to access it? This is just as much a practical discussion as much as a moral one 😂
Oh well.. life moves on
Omg you look like Kash Patel. Finally he can be replaced
