What happens to your body if you eat Teflon from a non-stick pan?

"sneak" into the environment. Right. You misspelled "intentionally dumped".
And by "leak" you mean companies dumping the chemicals into the water supply. Thanks 3M. Im sure Woodbury MN appreciates your donation.
"Sneak into the environment" is a crazy way to say dupont is evil.
"Sneak into the environment" nothing is sneaky the factories are dumping them out a pipe nothing sneaky about it
We're seeing a huge increase in this Teflon flu, they're calling it the new pan-demic
Switched to all cast iron and stainless cooking utensils years ago. Iron is good for your body. A properly seasoned cast iron pan is nonstick. I can cook over easy eggs on mine.
Saying that PFAS "sneak into the environment" is doing an awful lot of blame shifting.
Big Teflon doesn’t want you to know this
If you own birds, teflon pans can kill them with the same fumes that give you "teflon flu".
Big issue rn is that the companies who would see a disadvantage from this have all the incentive to suppress research or weaken its foundations
From what I remember, the Teflon itself isn't too bad as it's incredibly stable and doesn't want to react or bond to anything, which is where the trouble begins - it doesn't want to bond to the pan to create a coating, which is where the really horrible chemicals come into play, getting it to stick to the pan as a coating.
It's ok, it's perfectly safe to eat teflon chips. If you get dementia in your mid 50s it's because of your diet.
Teflon fumes will kill your pet bird.
Can't remember ever having to worry about being poisoned by my cast iron and stainless.
The "great" thing about PFAS is that you don't have to worry about contamination through teflon pans when 99% of the entire human population has been contaminated already. They're also doing new studies on wildlife, finding that contamination extends to "polar bears, tigers, monkeys, pandas, dolphins and fish, birds, reptiles, frogs and other amphibians, large mammals, like horses, and small mammals, such as cats, otters and squirrels, and has been documented in more than 600 other species of wildlife around the world, some endangered or threatened" (February 2023 article and study from EWG)
In unrelated news, since last week my kitchen is finally free from plastics or teflon. Sadly I can't buy food without plastic, but at least food is nowhere near plastic+heat.
Today I was watching the vid you made last year and I really enjoyed it you work to hard on your videos. Wish you all the best
I say use cast iron pans and eat a little iron now and again.😊
The big reason to replace Teflon pans is cause they only last a few years where stainless steel and others don’t break down in that way.
Interesting short, thanks!
