It reminds me of old xiaomi fitness trackers that came without screen and or a basic OLED
I love that i don't have to charge the band everyday, takes away a lot of stress compared to smartwatches.
Fitbit air tracks VO2max, but for that you need to manually start run in google health app while running. I use it and it shows my Vo2 max.

I am able to use fitbit air with my regular Titan / analog dress watch by using fitbit air strap so that way i avoid wearing watch and band in 2 separate wrists. Quite an advantage for people like me who love traditional watches. Have ordered after market compatible bands with different colours so i can use it over my other watch collection.

Quite detailed and comprehensive review. Amazing. I was looking for this Google Fitbit Air and how does it compare to the Whoop Peak whereas the whoop is just expensive. This is a better option.
It does track Vo2 max , you need to enable that tile in health menu
I bought this two weeks ago and felt the exact same way you described in the video! Had no idea the step count was overcounting compared to actual walking, definitely something I need to keep in mind now. Thanks for another informative review as always!
