As the Republicans face potentially heavy losses in November’s midterms, the U.S. ambassador to Canada has stepped in. Pete Hoekstra has named Canadian politicians he believes have been interfering, and one former U.S. ambassador gives us his no-holds-barred opinion.
Former U.S. ambassador to Canada James Blanchard said, “The White House apparently had some secret meetings with Alberta separatists. He’s calling for Zelenskyy to step down. It’s hypocritical for the administration to accuse Canada of trying to interfere.”
“What I think they’re doing is simply echoing the frustration of Donald Trump. I think he’s going to suffer a big defeat and they need people to blame. I think they’ll start blaming their own candidates, but he can blame Canada – it’s easy to do,” he added.

Hoekstra isn’t worth the time it takes to listen to him. When Bessent said in the news wks before the Alberta elections that the US would welcome Alberta to join the US, did the Canada Ambassador get on the news and tell the US to KEEP THEIR NOSE OUT OF CANADIAN ELECTIONS? No, because we aren’t NUTS, nor desperate like Hoekstra and his ilk! I’m afraid, as nice as Mr Blanchard is, he’s wrong about ol Pete WAS competent last Ambassadorship…The Netherlands had to call Hoekstra in and force him to make a public apology for election interference.
