Donald Trump says there were “some threats” that led the United States to pull bombers from a UK base.
The US president said the military aircraft “didn’t fly out by accident” from RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire.
Earlier, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio had sought to play down the withdrawal of the planes after suggestions the move was linked to security concerns.

Where was the security at the air base? Surely, the US should've been guarding their bombers whilst in the UK? Drone attacks could happen wherever America keeps it's military aircaft, I don't think that this is the full story at all. Plus, if that's all it takes to scare off the US airforce, then they hardly look like the formidable force to be reckoned with that they regularly report that they are. I wonder how many decades will pass before we hear what actually happened...
