How to Set Goals and Turn Them Into a Weekly Plan
A clear method for setting goals: pick a few, define what done looks like, break them into weekly actions, and review progress on a fixed day.

Choose fewer goals
Three active goals is a workable limit for most people. Each extra goal splits your attention and lowers the odds any of them finish.
Define what done looks like
Replace vague aims ("get fit") with a checkable outcome and a date ("run 5 km without stopping by 1 December"). If you cannot tell whether it is finished, it is a wish, not a goal.
Break it into weekly actions
Work backwards from the deadline into weekly targets, then pick the two or three actions that fit this week. Weekly is short enough to correct course and long enough to make real progress.
Review on a fixed day
Choose one weekly slot to compare planned and actual, carry over what matters and drop what does not. The review is what turns a plan into a habit.
